At The Goddard School in Stafford, we believe in nurturing the whole child—emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually. Our infant teachers play an essential role in shaping a safe, loving, and enriching environment during children’s earliest developmental stages.

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable assistant teacher to support our infant classroom. This role works closely with the lead teacher to provide gentle care and responsive interaction for our youngest learners, ages 6 weeks to 12 months.

• Assist with feedings, diaper changes, and soothing routines
• Support daily activities and sensory play appropriate for infant development
• Foster a safe, clean, and warm classroom environment
• Help maintain detailed records of feeding, sleeping, and diaper schedules
• Communicate warmly with parents about their baby’s day and milestones
• Collaborate with lead teacher and team members to promote consistency and care

• High school diploma or equivalent (Child Development coursework a plus)
• Prior experience in infant care or early childhood education preferred
• Patience, attention to detail, and ability to follow safety protocols
• Strong team spirit and reliability
• Must meet all state licensing and health requirements
