About the Role
A leading commercial contractor is seeking a Safety Officer to support active construction projects. This role focuses on maintaining safety standards, conducting site inspections, and partnering with project teams to promote a strong safety culture. Experience in MEP environments or data center projects is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular on-site safety inspections and hazard identification
- Monitor compliance with company, client, and OSHA safety standards
- Lead safety trainings (PPE, equipment use, hazard mitigation)
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation (AHAs, PTPs, reports)
- Provide end-to-end safety coverage for assigned projects
- OSHA 30 certification (required)
- 1–4 years of experience in construction safety or related trade work
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices
- Experience supporting commercial construction projects preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
$83,000 - $100,000 a year
