Position:Head/Lead Teacher
(Certification or degree/licensure in Early Childhood Education or Development and expert in Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten development and programing)
Responsibilities- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for pre-kindergarten-aged children
- Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that are created for you
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth
- College/University degree in a Child Development/Education-related major
- Child Development Associates (if applicable)
- 5+ years of experience working as a Lead Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
- Strong leadership skills to thrive in the opening of a brand-new preschool
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children
