We are seeking a compassionate, dependable assistant teacher to support our infant classroom. This role works closely with the lead teacher to provide gentle care and responsive interaction for our youngest learners, ages 6 weeks to 12 months.
Responsibilities- Assist with feedings, diaper changes, and soothing routines
- Support daily activities and sensory play appropriate for infant development
- Foster a safe, clean, and warm classroom environment
- Help maintain detailed records of feeding, sleeping, and diaper schedules
- Communicate warmly with parents about their baby’s day and milestones
- Collaborate with lead teacher and team members to promote consistency and care
- High school diploma or equivalent (Child Development coursework a plus)
- Prior experience in infant care or early childhood education preferred
- Patience, attention to detail, and ability to follow safety protocols
- Strong team spirit and reliability
- Must meet all state licensing and health requirements
- Starting pay at $16/hour
