Systems Engineer

At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. In support of government customers, we are seeking a System Engineer - Sr. with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy, principles, and organizational protocols.
Job Duties:Generates ideas and oversees processes to form a working solution. They manage numerous processes, ranging from products and services to information, to attain operational efficiency. Systems Engineers strive to address challenges, create new ideas, and accomplish objectives by overseeing and optimizing systems and processes.
- Leading and managing Systems Engineering and technical support for a large PMO.
- Providing business analysis, technical process reviews, and strategic support.
- Proven experience delivering SE subject matter expertise by conducting independent risk assessments, evaluating technical execution, and coordinating and executing technical reviews within the DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework.
- Assisting with Digital Engineering initiatives/activities and CM policy management.
- Capturing and translating customer requirements into actionable system solutions, performing system architecture analyses, and supporting integration planning across the program portfolio.
- Conducting trade studies and engineering assessments to inform decision‑making and improve processes in line with APM‑E guidance. Providing engineering support for SETRs, SEP, TEMP reviews, and S&T Roadmaps.
- Developing and enhancing PMO engineering policies, managing MS TEAMS and SharePoint sites, and developing policies and processes to improve knowledge management and capability‑based portfolio analysis.
- Analyzing operational capabilities, identifying risks and gaps, and supporting S&T and Integration Engineer initiatives.
- Assisting in developing and updating strategic documents and provides recommendations to enhance integration, interoperability, and S&T advancements.
- Facilitating engagement with external organizations and attending classified meetings at Secret and Top‑Secret levels. Drafting, staffing, and submitting CDRLs for Government review.

- 10 years work related experience
- Working knowledge of DoD Acquisition policies, such as DoDI 5000.02 and SECNAV 5000.02; the Adaptive Acquisition Framework; MCSC Acquisition Guidebook;
Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution processes; and the Systems Engineering Technical Review Framework, Process, and Handbooks.
Clearance Required:
SECRET with the ability to obtain TS when Need to Know is required.
