We’re seeking a Commercial Counsel to support a leading industry company’s legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely within the U.S., with a preference for candidates in the EST time zone and involves national legal oversight. The position is permanent, providing a chance to influence critical business strategies through legal expertise.
Open to candidates based in the continental U.S. and who are eligible to work without the need for sponsorship.

Commercial Counsel Responsibilities- Manage and negotiate a variety of SaaS and vendor agreements, ensuring seamless deal flow and alignment with business objectives.
- Represent the company in negotiations with clients, providing strategic legal advice to secure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate internally to optimize contract workflows and develop standardized templates and playbooks.
- Monitor legal, regulatory, and industry developments to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Conduct legal research on U.S. digital accessibility laws, providing insights to support compliance and leadership strategies.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- Over 5 years of experience as a corporate or commercial attorney, ideally with SaaS, privacy, or security law focus.
- Proven ability to negotiateйә contracts, streamline processes, and mitigate legal risks.
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills strain, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Exceptional contract redlining, legal research, and risk assessment expertise, demonstrating professionalism and adaptability.
