Program Manager

Overview

PROGRAM MANAGER | TIER III (MIELS):

Bowhead is seeking a Program Manager to support a customer in Stafford, VA.

• Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Directly manage staff performance, including evaluations, coaching, scheduling, and professional development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support program success.
• Monitor program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
• Focus on implementing program plans, meeting deadlines, achieving compliance, and hitting budget targets.
• Represent the program in meetings with partners, agencies, and stakeholders, providing updates and advocating for program needs.
• Direct the work of technical and support personnel assigned to the task and is responsible for overall task performance, product quality, and timeliness of efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology-related discipline or 8+ years or more of practical experience in Program Management.
• 6+ years’ experience dealing with integration of IT technology, network infrastructure, and software across multiple security networks.
• Familiar with USMC PoR management, requirements, and the DoD acquisition standards.
• PMP certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment to cohesively meet the needs of the customer.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

SECURITY

CLEARANCE REQUIRED:

Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level with the ability to obtain Counterintelligence Polygraph. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
