Specialty Sales (Style, Tech, Beauty) position rting Hourly Rate: $17.00 USD per hour.

Target’s Style Consultants deliver strong operations and an excellent guest experience with compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and support easy self-discovery on the sales floor and in the fitting room.

A Style Consultant is welcoming and helpful in meeting guests’ needs on the sales floor and in the fitting room, ensuring the floor is set with the right products, accurately priced and signed with the right sizes, styles, and colors.

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and to support guest needs.
• Sort freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and follow visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability on the floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity to create a guest-ready floor.
• Maintain backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price changes and clearance merchandising with proper signing.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by ensuring merchandise from the fitting room and guest service is returned to the sales floor as needed.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive-Up, maintaining compliance with laws.
• Greet guests and engage with them to help solve their needs; thank guests for shopping at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate across multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and technology as directed.
• Effective communication skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within time frames.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders; scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
