Job DescriptionThe New Home Counselor is part of the team responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of the sales center. They are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to existing and potential customers, while demonstrating respect and professionalism. The role includes driving the overall sales process, maintaining effective and efficient sales and administration programs, providing product and company information, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive leads, and converting prospects into buyers.
- Position based out of Embrey Hills 55+ Community:
Link - Requires evening and weekend hours during Lifestyle Sales Office hours.
- Ensuring the effectiveness of the overall sales process
- Contribute to development and implementation of effective sales and administration programs
- Actively participate in meeting or exceeding sales targets as specified in the Business Plan
- Continuously look for ways to improve sales pace and customer satisfaction by suggesting innovative ideas
- Assist with development of a continuous prospecting plan via phone, email, web, etc.
- Welcome and greet all prospects and deliver personalized presentation
- Provide product and company information to customers
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help drive leads
- Ensure proper presentation and marketing of sales center, Quick Move‑in homes, and Model Homes
- Present and review new home sales agreements with customers and enter agreements into systems
- Correspond with prospects/homeowners and follow up all leads
- Recognize the importance of customer satisfaction and commitment to it
- Play major role in customer experience throughout entire home buying process
- Maintain daily interaction with construction and purchasing departments regarding sales changes
- Provide innovative marketing solutions and product differentiation
- Create ongoing competitive analyses on product positioning, sales prices, premiums, and incentives
- Research and analyze competitive information in new home and resale markets and provide weekly reports
- High school diploma with minimum 3 years of sales experience
- Outstanding sales and customer service record
- Proficient computer knowledge and skills
- Exceptional time‑management and organizational skills
- Post‑secondary diploma or degree in business or related area is preferred
- New home or residential home sales experience
