INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS
An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
7.5 hours/day
JOB SUMMARYThis position is one of prevention of crime against the County School system rather than investigation and apprehension; however, the security assistant will investigate school incidents by talking with students to determine specifics about what happened. This position is responsible for the safety and security of an assigned school. This position includes, but not limited to patrolling parking lots, school entryways and hallways, and providing security of the premises to include protection of students, staff and property.
