Brighton Job Type: Full-time Reed Brighton is working with an accountancy firm who are seeking a Personal Tax Apprentice to join its dynamic and supportive tax department.

This role offers an excellent pathway for recent graduates or individuals with early-stage tax or accounting experience who are looking to build a long-term career in personal tax.

Role Overview :
As a Personal Tax Trainee, you’ll gain practical experience across all areas of personal tax compliance and advisory work. Working alongside experienced managers and senior team members, you’ll develop technical expertise while progressing toward a recognised professional tax qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing personal tax returns and support the completion of P11

Ds, as well as contributing to Making Tax Digital processes.
• Over time, take responsibility for a small portfolio of personal tax clients, supported by senior mentors.
• Contribute to the team's goals around exceptional client service and sustainable growth.
• Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and attention to detail in producing high-quality work. Experience/Requirements:
• Experience with in personal or corporate tax, or academic background in accounting/finance.
• Commitment to developing a tax career and pursuing professional qualifications such as ATT or CTA.
• GCSE Maths and English (grades 9–6) and strong A-level results (minimum two As and one B or equivalent).
• Confident communication skills, solid IT abilities, and a proactive, positive attitude. Benefits:
