Job Description Project Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum+ performance bonus Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:30)
Location: Hybrid / Site-based as required - Staines (TW18)
Reed is delighted to be supporting a returning client of ours whoare looking for a proactive and driven Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of specialist installations. Reporting to the Head of Project Operations
, you will manage projects from initial enquiry through to post-installation handover, ensuring best-in‑class delivery for our customers.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with strong technical capability, excellent organisational skills, and a problem‑solving mindset.
What You’ll Be Doing Project Delivery- Manage installation projects from initial enquiry to final handover
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication throughout
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Produce technical drawings, specifications, and accurate project quotations
- Support effective planning and smooth project execution
- Procure and manage materials in line with project requirements and timelines
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure availability and quality
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and site schedules
- Resolve issues quickly to keep projects running smoothly
- Manage project budgets, variations, and documentation
- Maintain strong commercial oversight and transparent reporting
- A natural problem-solver who identifies issues and makes sound decisions
- Proactive and improvement‑focused — you challenge the status quo
- Positive, adaptable, and resilient when faced with challenges
- A collaborative team player with clear communication skills
- Technically proficient, with a degree in construction or a related technical discipline (or the ability to learn quickly on the job)
- Ability to read and produce technical drawings
- Experience with quoting and materials procurement
- Background in specialist systems, construction, or a related industry
- Familiarity with project or job management software (e.g. Simpro)
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30
- 1-hour lunch break
- £35,000 - £40,000 base salary plus performance-related bonus
