Junior or Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer - (Building Services)
£35k to £50k, + Benefits & Business Development Bonus

This role is to join a first-rate design team, you’ll work on a range of high profile projects each of which is totally unique, they include high end and high spec retail, restaurant and private housing. These are highly complex spaces often involving heritage buildings, where cutting edge design solutions are required to meet their clients’ complex requirements.
Without doubt this role will provide exposure to some interesting complex and one-off projects, all to high specification!
You will also receive mentoring and training to help your ongoing progression.
Responsibilities
 
* Assisting senior design engineers with the preparation of outline design schemes
 
* Preparing technical specifications and schedules and design development reports.
 
* Checking documents and carrying out detailed electrical calculations
 
* Develop and produce reports, specifications, guidance notes and general correspondence ensuring quality and technical quality standards are met
 
* Attending design team meetings, client meetings, site progress meetings, pre-contract and post-contract meetings.
 
* Visiting site during the construction phase to monitor progress

* Working alongside and being mentored by senior engineers.
Experience Required
 
* A minimum of 18 months electrical design within building services.
 
* Solid experience of electrical design engineering in a building services consultancy environment.
 
* An electrical degree.
 
* Ability to accept a high degree of responsibility in a team-based organisation
