Salary: Up to £60,000 + bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a dynamic, fast‑paced organisation. This role offers broad exposure across a multi‑entity environment and the opportunity to play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial reporting while supporting ongoing business growth.

The Role

You will take ownership of key areas of financial reporting and statutory compliance across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Working closely with Finance and wider business stakeholders, you’ll help drive improvements in processes, controls, and reporting quality, while supporting core month‑end and year‑end activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals, pre‑payments, payroll, fixed assets, and FX
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary across P&L and balance sheet
  • Support monthly and quarterly close cycles to meet reporting deadlines
  • Prepare statutory accounts and supporting audit schedules
  • Manage external audit processes and liaise with auditors
  • Ensure regulatory filings are accurate and submitted on time
  • Take ownership of assigned legal entities and their reporting requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls
  • Support finance systems improvements and testing
About You
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong financial reporting experience within a multi‑entity environment
  • Good knowledge of FRS
    102 and/or IFRS
  • Experience supporting audits and statutory reporting processes
  • Practice background desirable but not essential
