Join our dynamic team as an Expeditor and play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and quality delivery of goods and documents for our client, a leader in the Oil & Gas and renewable energy sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with suppliers on-site while contributing to impactful projects in Kingston-Upon-Thames.
- Review Purchase Orders and contractual documentation to identify discrepancies and prevent misunderstandings that could cause delays.
- Contact vendors to confirm receipt and interpretation of Purchase Orders, expediting the acknowledgment process.
- Ensure vendor supply schedules cover all phases of the supply cycle and comply with contract delivery terms.
- Facilitate communication between vendors and internal functions involved in supply chain activities.
- Provide reliable updates on supply progress status based on delivery criticality.
- Monitor all supply chain phases to identify potential delays and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure timely availability of shipping documentation for the transportation of purchased materials.
- Manage “dual use” identification and ensure accurate SAP updates.
- Oversee the issuance of Goods Receipts and milestone releases, ensuring accurate forecasting of delivery dates.
- Support the evaluation of delays for Liquidated Damages and assist in vendor variation requests/claims.
- Issue vendor performance feedback in accordance with vendor management processes.
- SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise and SAP Adaptive Server experience preferred.
- Proficient in Office
365 applications. - Strong communication skills for effective vendor engagement.
- Ability to analyze and interpret contractual documents.
- Experience in field expediting and onsite supplier engagement.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within EPCI projects in Oil & Gas or renewable energy sectors.
- Relevant certifications or training in supply chain management or procurement are advantageous.
