Logistics Planning Analyst
Location:
Staines Area
Salary:
Up to £42,000 + Bonus
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Planning Analyst to join a leading retail distribution operation. This role is responsible for managing warehouse space planning, analysing stock capacity, and supporting operational efficiency across a busy logistics network.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and manage warehouse space plans, ensuring accuracy and effective stock allocation.
* Coordinate planning changes, including new product introductions, promotional activity, and discontinued lines.
* Monitor warehouse capacity and identify opportunities to improve space utilisation and operational efficiency.
* Update and maintain planning systems and databases.
* Produce reports, analysis, and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
* Work closely with Logistics, Supply Chain, and Warehouse Management teams to resolve capacity and planning challenges.
* Support continuous improvement projects across the distribution operation.
About You
To be considered, you should have:
* Previous experience in a Logistics Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Warehouse Planning Analyst, Capacity Planning Analyst, Inventory Analyst, or similar role.
* Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and manipulation of large datasets.
* Experience producing reports and presenting data-driven recommendations.
* A good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics planning.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* A proactive and self-motivated approach with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience with in a retail, e-commerce, FMCG, or distribution environment would be highly advantageous.
