Job Description
We are recruiting hardworking and physically fit Grounds Maintenance Operatives to maintain highways grass verges across Staines.
Duties Include
* Cutting grass verges using strimmers.
* Using blowers to clear grass cuttings and debris.
* Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Walking approximately 7–10 miles per day.
Working Hours
* Winter: 7:45 am – 3:30 pm.
* Summer: 6:45 am – 2:30 pm.
Requirements
Candidates must be reliable, punctual, physically fit and happy working outdoors. Previous grounds maintenance experience is beneficial but a willingness to learn is essential.
Career Development
These temporary-to-permanent positions offer the opportunity to secure a full-time permanent role, with further training available in pole saws, wood chippers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws and tree climbing.
