We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager support our SME house builder community.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30 – 17:00 based in our sales office above branch, in Staines (TW18 2BE
).
** What You’ll Be Doing
*** Work closely with the Business Development Director to develop effective supplier relationships to maximise customer sales opportunities
* Build and maintain relationships with customer procurement teams, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Site Agents
* Maximise opportunities to continually learn about new products and to improve selling skills
* Develop, own and manage key accounts
* Supporting the achievement of sales targets of new products whilst maintaining growth on existing products
* Seek out opportunities to identify future and existing sales opportunities within the area
* Working closely with branch teams to deliver outstanding service

* What we're looking for:

*** Knowledge of the construction or building materials sector, is essential
* Experience of managing a portfolio or working towards account growth on specific customers
* Pipeline and opportunity management.
* Forecasting and reporting.
* Excellent communication.
* Problem solving.
* Awareness of pricing, supply chain and procurement process.
