Position:
Airfreight Import Clerk
Location: Staines
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 (moving to shift pattern covering 08:00 – 18:00)
Additional Info: 1 in every 5 weekends required (paid at time and a half)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Airfreight Import Clerk to join our client’s busy and growing team based in Staines
.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid import and customs clearance experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive freight forwarding environment.
Key Responsibilities- Processing airfreight import shipments, including handling of MAWBs
- Completing full customs clearance procedures
- Liaising with overseas agents and local hauliers
- Ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations
- Updating internal systems with accurate shipment information
- Communicating effectively with customers and stakeholders
- Previous experience in airfreight imports is essential
- Solid understanding of customs processes and documentation
