We are seeking an organized and detail-driven Operations Coordinator within Oceanimports to support the smooth running of import and export operations. Working closely with the Operations Manager, customers, suppliers, agents, and transport providers, you will play a key role in ensuring shipments are managed efficiently and delivered inline with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the import process from start to finish.
  • liaise with customers, suppliers, forwarders, and overseas agents to obtain and share up‑to‑date shipment information.
  • Communicate all relevant information internally and externally to ensure correct procedures are followed and customer needs are met.
  • Keep customers fully informed on the progress of their shipments.
  • Provide transport companies with accurate and timely information to ensure delivery requirements are met.
  • Ensure all documentation is correct, complete, and held on file inline with operational instructions.
  • Maintain shipment files, ensuring all jobs are correctly costed and billed in accordance with company procedures.
  • Provide cover for export operations when required.
  • Undertake any additional duties necessary to support the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
Continuous Improvement
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations team to improve processes and overall business performance.
  • Support and adapt to changes within the role to help drive the department and business forward.
  • Work toward personal objectives set during appraisals on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achievement of agreed individual objectives.
  • Full understanding of and adherence to all Woodland policies and procedures relevant to the role.
About You
  • Previous experience in operations, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Confident liaising with customers, suppliers, agents, and transport providers.
  • Detail‑focused, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team.
