Service Master DSI provides restoration in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. We invest in education, latest tools and technology, and training; we are industry leaders in disaster restoration cleaning and care for clients and employees alike. Our community-like work environment offers extensive training and uses advanced equipment in the restoration industry.

We’re looking for a Lead Technician/Restoration Crew Chief for residential and commercial fire and water clean-up and restoration. Job assignments include specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack ins, and content cleaning. This role directs, aids and supervises Restoration Technicians assigned to the project.

Pay starts at $22-$25 per hour, negotiable based on experience.

• Ensure timely, quality completion of assigned restoration cleaning, moving, packing, or general labor projects.
• Direct, aid, and supervise Restoration Technicians and Staff Laborers assigned to the project.
• Evaluate competence and quality of the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers.
• Promote ongoing knowledge and skill development through training.
• Ensure productivity of staff assigned to the project.
• Complete required restoration project documentation, including forms and photo documentation, per established protocols.
• Maintain excellent customer communication and relations.
• Perform other duties as required; duties may extend beyond the normal scope of the role.

• Restoration or carpet and upholstery cleaning experience
• Previous experience as a Crew Chief in a fire and flood restoration company
• Strong communication skills
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation
• Previous restoration experience
• Ability to travel out of town
• Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs
• Water Restoration Tech Certification IICRC (WRT)

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
