What is it like to be a Restoration Technician at Service Master DSI?

Service Master DSI is the largest Service Master franchise in the world, providing restoration services in Charlotte, NC, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack-ins, and content cleaning.

As a Restoration Technician, your role includes:

• Driving a company vehicle to customer locations.
• Executing work to meet or exceed federal, state, local regulations, and quality standards, while providing excellent customer service.
• Becoming proficient in fire and water restoration, as well as mold abatement.
• Responding to water jobs and initiating water mitigation according to IICRC and Service Master standards.

Skills required:

• Good communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Ability to travel out of town
• Ability to move and lift 50+ lbs
• Pass drug and background checks
• Previous restoration experience is a plus
