Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable IT Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will deliver IT lessons to FE learners, supporting them in developing both practical and theoretical IT skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging IT lessons to FE learners.
  • Support learners in developing practical IT skills and digital literacy.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner assessments, attendance, and outcomes.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of teaching resources.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in IT education and industry practices.
Person Specification
  • Relevant IT qualification (degree or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching in further or higher education is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of IT principles, software, and digital skills relevant to FE learners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
