Full Time Job Purpose To create, maintain, and manage vehicle CAD structures, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering product data to support the successful delivery of vehicle programmes. The role is responsible for ensuring high-quality CAD and product structures within Teamcenter and associated systems, working closely with engineering teams to resolve complex structure issues, implement changes, and maintain data accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.

The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert for CAD structuring and BOM management, driving quality, process improvements, and effective collaboration across Bentley and VW Group stakeholders. Main Responsibilities CAD Structure & Vehicle Project Delivery Create, maintain, and restructure vehicle CAD assemblies and product structures within Teamcenter. Manage CAD structure activities arising from project boards and engineering requests, ensuring tickets are prioritised and delivered on time.

Review add/delete lists and implement structure changes across vehicle programmes. Work closely with engineers to validate data, identify issues, and rework structures as required. Support engineering change activities and ensure structures align with programme milestones and release requirements. BOM Management & Data Integrity Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials and engineering product structures. Ensure consistency between CAD structures, BOMs, and associated engineering data.

Monitor data quality and identify discrepancies impacting engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing activities. Support reporting activities and provide visibility of structure maturity and project progress. Technical Problem Solving Investigate and resolve complex CAD structure and BOM-related issues. Analyse structure conflicts, missing data, or incorrect configurations and implement robust solutions. Support detailed restructuring activities, from complete assemblies through to individual components and systems.

Deliver technical recommendations and updates to stakeholders. Systems Expertise & Continuous Improvement Act as a specialist user of Teamcenter Active Workspace and associated engineering systems. Support the development and improvement of CAD structuring processes and standards. Maintain knowledge of Bentley and VW Group product data, CAD, and configuration management processes. Promote best practice in product structuring and data governance. Stakeholder Collaboration Build strong working relationships with Engineering, Product Data, Manufacturing, and VW Group stakeholders.

Support knowledge sharing, process documentation, and training activities. Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced programme environment to ensure successful delivery of objectives. Key Skills & Experience Essential Significant experience creating and maintaining CAD structures within a PLM environment. Strong Teamcenter Active Workspace experience (Siemens Teamcenter). Proven Bills of Materials (BOM) management expertise. Experience working with large and complex engineering data sets.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality. Ability to analyse, validate, and rework engineering data and structures. Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills. Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple activities in a high-pressure environment. Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Desirable Experience within automotive product development. Knowledge of VW Group systems and processes. LCA (Lifecycle Assessment) or similar CAD structure tools.
