Job Title: Panel Wirer / Electrical Panel Builder

Our client is looking for an experienced Panel Wirer to join their established engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring, assembling, and testing electrical control panels to a high standard, working from engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, wire, and assemble electrical control panels from schematic drawings
• Install components such as PLCs, relays, contractors, breakers, drives, and terminals
• Carry out point‑to‑point wiring and cable terminations
• Perform basic electrical testing and fault‑finding
• Maintain high-quality standards and follow company procedures
• Work collaboratively with engineers and production teams to meet project deadlines

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience in panel wiring or electrical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Strong crimping, soldering, and cable management skills
• Understanding of control systems and automation components (advantageous)
• High attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
