Workshop Manager / Senior Cabinet Maker / Joinery Manager - Bespoke Kitchens and Fitted Furniture    Essendine, Rutland (near Stamford) | £45,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience | Permanent, Full-Time
An exciting senior opportunity for an experienced Cabinet Maker or Joiner ready to take full workshop management responsibility while staying hands-on at the bench. The business is an internationally recognised manufacturer of handcrafted bespoke kitchens, fitted furniture and cabinetry, delivering to clients across the UK, USA and international markets.
This is a genuine leadership role, not a desk job. You will run the joinery workshop day to day, plan and allocate production, and set the standard for quality, while still building bespoke cabinetry yourself. Candidates who have supervised or managed a cabinet making or joinery workshop are of particular interest, as are cabinetmakers and joiners who have run their own business and now want a senior employed role in a growing, internationally focused manufacturer.

The Role
- Lead day-to-day workshop operations while remaining actively hands-on in production
- Manufacture bespoke kitchens and fitted furniture to luxury standards
- Plan, allocate and manage workshop production and workflow
- Monitor progress against programme requirements and delivery schedules
- Maintain and enforce quality control standards throughout manufacture
- Support, mentor and develop junior cabinet makers and joiners
- Work closely with project managers and designers to resolve technical issues

What We Are Looking For
- At least 10 years' experience in bespoke cabinet making, joinery or architectural millwork
- Proven experience supervising or managing a cabinetry or joinery workshop team, or having run your own cabinet making or joinery business
- Strong technical knowledge of cabinet and furniture construction
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality craftsmanship

- Experience of premium residential or international projects (desirable)  - CNC or modern manufacturing experience (desirable)  - Full UK driving licence (preferred)
