Lead Unreal Programmer You will take ownership of core coding architecture and shape innovative virtual reality simulation projects within the defence sector. This position provides a clear pathway to diversify your technical expertise across artificial intelligence and augmented reality while leading project delivery. You will guide a growing team to modernise critical training solutions and evaluate emerging technologies for real-world applications.

Lead and support the internal development team whilst ensuring code quality meets industry standard practices. Coordinate closely with sub-contractors and external partners throughout the project lifecycle. Research and evaluate new simulation technologies to support long-term engineering strategies. Assist internal change teams with technical proposals and project scoping documentation. Your experience Comprehensive background in performance profiling and graphics optimisation for virtual environments.

Practical understanding of source control systems and modern integrated development environments. Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across central and graphics processing units. Background in agile development methodologies and technical project scoping. Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience.
