Reporting to the Executive Director, the Client Advocate is a critical role to the center as this individual will be providing compassionate care, education, and resources to all individuals who interact with Luminous Women’s Health & Wellness; and especially those clients facing unplanned pregnancies. This role involves direct client interaction, administrative support, and collaboration with leadership and other staff to ensure clients receive the best possible care.
The Client Advocate is a compassionate guide helping each woman recognize her value and make informed, life-affirming decisions.
- Engage in one-on-one support sessions using The LOVE Approach to build trust, listen actively, and offer nonjudgmental care.
- Assist clients in processing pregnancy-related decisions, health concerns, or relationship pressures with dignity and compassion.
- Be trained and knowledgeable in the Center’s programs and resources.
- Assist clients with self-administered pregnancy tests in a confidential manner.
- Offer consultation, educational materials, and to internal and/or community programs and resources as appropriate.
- Conduct follow-up communications with clients to offer continued guidance and assistance.
- Ensure client confidentiality and adhere to center policies & procedures.
- Maintain clear, accurate and confidential client records
. - Support day-to-day operations, including scheduling, answering phone calls, and emails
.
- Successfully complete the Center Training Program before assuming duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
- Excellent listening and communication skills to provide nonjudgmental support.
- Strong motivation to serve women and families experiencing crisis pregnancy.
- Proficiency in basic administrative skills including: computer skills (Google Suite, database entry), calendar/scheduling, phone system, etc.
- Event management / coordination a plus but not necessary.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to providing services in accordance with the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services as promulgated by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
- FT/Part-time role on site
- Volunteer & Paid Positions Available. - May require occasional evening or weekend availability based on center demand.
