Comprehensive Ophthalmologist​/Glaucoma: Partnership Premier Physician-Owned

Stamford Ophthalmology is a premier, state-of-the-art eye care center in Stamford, CT, a vibrant coastal city-suburb just 40-45 minutes from Manhattan. Our independent, physician-owned practice is looking to add a BC/BE comprehensive ophthalmologist to join our current team of six ophthalmologists and two optometrists. Fellowship training in glaucoma is preferred but not required. We are seeking an energetic and dedicated ophthalmologist who would play a primary role in guiding our independent practice into the future.

We are offering a very competitive salary and benefits package with full partnership track available. Hours are full-time (approximately 40 hours/week) but flexible. We perform surgery at a physician-owned ASC, with separate buy-in options available.

Stamford Ophthalmology was founded in 1974 and has remained a leading practice in the greater Stamford area, including the surrounding communities of Westchester County, Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk and Westport. Our team of eight doctors includes two optometrists and six ophthalmologists with specialites including cornea, pediatrics and oculoplastics. Our modern downtown office features state-of-the-art equipment including an Optos wide-field fundus camera, two Zeiss OCT devices, a Humphrey visual field, Lenstar, Pentacam HR, corneal specular microscope, and two lasers (YAG and SLT).

We also have our own in-house physician-owned optical shop managed by a full-time optician. Our priority has always been to provide high-quality, personalized care to our patients, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
