Come join our team! The Goddard School of Stamford is a preschool that opened in May 2023. We are seeking fun, experienced and qualified Toddler teachers who are dependable, highly motivated and meet Connecticut's Early Childhood Teacher requirements.

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing and multi-cultural learning environment
• Design and implement age appropriate play based lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum
• Effectively use positive discipline to manage the classroom
• Plan and implement activities to foster children’s self-esteem and social skills
• Prepare a daily activity report for each child
• Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences and professional growth opportunities
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• A High School Diploma is required
• Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education or Child Development preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a licensed childcare, daycare or preschool is required

The Goddard School of Stamford is open year-round

Monday-Friday 7am to 6pm (9 hour shift with 1 hour break)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
