Literacy Specialist, Alpha

Alpha School invites you to architect an AI‑powered, scalable literacy program that delivers transformative learning in 2 hours, compared to conventional schools. As a Literacy Specialist you will design adaptive workshops, interpret live student performance data, and partner with engineers to create literacy platforms that extend your impact to hundreds of learners.

• Hourly rate: $60.00/hr
• Annual salary: $120,000 (40 hours/week, 50 weeks/year)

• Conduct adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
• Create individualized motivational experiences that engage students and foster a lasting passion for reading.
• Review student performance metrics to iteratively improve instructional methods and identify actionable trends.
• Work alongside the technology team to assess and refine AI‑powered literacy solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing small‑group reading interventions to early elementary students.
• Capable of evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre‑packaged curricula.
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and adept at responding to student interaction patterns.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
• Available to work on‑site at one of the campus locations listed above.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) contract position with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level is $60 USD/hour, equating to $120,000 USD per year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment is made weekly. Consult  for more details.
