• PCB Design:
  Create detailed layouts from schematics, ensuring optimal component placement and routing.
• Documentation:
  Generate manufacturing files (Gerber, drill files, BOM, assembly drawings).
• Compliance:
  Perform design rule checks for DFM/DFA/DFT and industry standards.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
• Library Management:
  Maintain schematic symbols and PCB footprints.
• Prototyping:
  Support builds, troubleshoot issues, and implement design adjustments.
• Ordering:
  Procure blank boards and parts for prototypes.
• Assembly & Testing:
  Hand solder SMT and through-hole components, program boards, and conduct tests.
• BOM Management:
  Create and update BOMs for prototypes and production.
• Software Maintenance:
  Keep PCB design software and libraries updated.
• Lab Organization:
  Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Compliance Testing:
  Prepare units for certification testing (e.g., UL, TUV).
• Troubleshooting:
  Assist with electrical issues and customer support.
• Root Cause Analysis:
  Investigate field failures and returns.
• Manufacturer Coordination:
  Ensure products meet latest revisions.

• AS or BS in Electrical Engineering with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in electromechanical product design and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Proficiency with electronics lab equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, power supply, etc.).
• Ability to test, debug prototypes, and document results.
• Hands‑on experience with PCB CAD software (Dip Trace preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with approval agencies and PCBA test methodologies.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to build test fixtures.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
