• Lead monthly reconciliation of trading activity across internal systems and the general ledger, preparing related journal entries and resolving variances with trading, front-, and mid-office teams.
• Evaluate financially and physically settled energy contracts to determine the correct accounting treatment under IFRS and/or US GAAP, ensuring accurate and compliant reporting.
• Prepare key financial schedules and management reports, including P&L, balance sheet analytics, inventory, and financial instrument summaries.
• Support the annual audit process, assist with financial statement preparation, and help maintain a SOX‑compliant control environment through documentation and process improvements.

• Strong technical accounting background, ideally with experience in energy trading or derivative accounting.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast‑moving, deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and advanced proficiency with financial systems and Excel.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
