Position: Behavior Therapist (BT)

Overview

Aspire Living & Learning is a non-profit human services agency dedicated to supporting adults and children with autism and other disabilities. This position is for a Behavior Therapist in one of our Approved Private Special Education Programs (ALL Academy) in Stamford, CT.

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Salary range: $37,400 – $47,840 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the guidance of Special Education Teachers and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts to implement each student’s educational and behavioral programs.
  • Collaborate with service providers, including School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists, and Occupational/Physical Therapists.
Qualifications
  • Our Ideal Candidate: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience providing direct support to children with disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience working directly with children with disabilities.
