Oula and Stamford Health have initiated a collaboration to provide high-quality maternity care in Fairfield County, offering comprehensive support before, during, and after pregnancy. Our team of trusted midwives, OB-GYNs, and care navigators serve a diverse community. Oula, provided by Stamford Health, is opening a new practice location in Norwalk, with plans for additional locations.

This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a Certified Nurse Midwife passionate about improving patient-centric maternity care. You will deliver full-spectrum perinatal & GYN care and help shape the Stamford Health/Oula collaborative clinical care model. Expand your skills and provide comprehensive support to improve outcomes aligned with top-tier maternity standards.

Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM. Overnight rotational call required, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing full-scope maternity (labor, birth, postpartum) and GYN care at Norwalk clinic and Stamford Hospital
• Managing patients throughout pregnancy, working with interdisciplinary teams, establishing care eligibility, communicating effectively, conducting consultations, and transferring care as needed
• Ensuring clear communication with patients during and between appointments
• Contributing to clinical protocol development for midwife-OBGYN collaboration
• Supporting resident training on midwifery and collaborative care guidelines

• Active LM licensure in Connecticut
• Certified by AMCB as a Nurse-Midwife
• Minimum five years of post-graduate clinical midwife experience in hospital labor/delivery and low acuity maternity/GYN care
