Overview

EY is hiring for an SAP - Finance - Senior Manager - Consulting role.

Location:

Anywhere in the United States. This role focuses on delivering SAP-based finance solutions and advisory services to clients, leveraging EY’s SAP capabilities across Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Architecture and Success Factors.

What you’ll do

On engagements, you will work with key stakeholders to understand needs and advise on SAP system capabilities. You will initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprint, test, document workflows, and design functional solutions. You will translate business needs into technical specifications for the technical teams, support configurations and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems, and manage senior-level client relationships.

As a Senior Manager in Technology Business Analysis, you will evaluate complex business models, translate requirements into technical specs, and help drive technology delivery success. You will manage and oversee complex processes and projects, ensure quality, manage risk, and oversee budgets and delivery objectives. You will contribute to business growth through revenue generation and commercial relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Thought leadership with best-practice knowledge to tackle complex problems

• Identify sales opportunities and participate in client engagements from planning to closure

• Manage engagement economics with focus on chargeability and revenue generation

• Own relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels

• Lead and deliver SAP projects or work streams with quality and risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree;
Master’s preferred

• 5-7 years of relevant SAP experience

• At least 3 years of experience with one or more SAP modules

• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills

• Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members

• Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, and advisory experience in finance/technology functions relevant to industry

• Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues including regulations and new technologies

• Willingness to travel to meet client needs

Desirable

• Prior consulting industry experience

• SAP certification(s)

• Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of core module
