The Insurance Americas Application Solution Center at AXA XL’s Global Technology team is responsible for Policy Administration, ERM, HR, Marketing and Communication, Workplace, Legal, and Compliance Applications portfolio management. The team builds strategy, performs SDLC, maintenance, support, and performance improvements for all applications.
Responsibilities- Collect, challenge, facilitate, and document business requirements and define business specifications.
- Validate IT solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and review specifications with development and test teams.
- Analyze large volumes of data and assess the impact of changes on source systems, finance architecture, and dependent systems.
- Engage closely with business teams in delivering projects, small changes, and business‑as‑usual releases.
- Perform root cause analysis in support of Problem Management and operational tasks.
- Perform deliverable reviews and manage quality metrics.
- Collaborate with Transformation & Change Delivery resources to ensure requirements fit into the process flow and avoid gaps.
- Help identify opportunities to make processes more efficient.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
- Experience analyzing Insurance/Reinsurance/Finance applications.
- Proficiency in Prebind and Post bind policy administration systems.
- Knowledge of Insurance Regulatory reporting and the WINS system is a plus.
- Ability to extract data from SQL and regulatory reporting knowledge.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication style.
- Team player able to engage multiple teams in a large organization.
- Technical knowledge of all phases of application systems analysis.
- Experience with large‑volume data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies, especially Agile (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe).
- Familiarity with analyst methodologies: use cases, business rule development, UI specs, functional specs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Detail‑oriented, technically motivated, creative, and user‑oriented.
- Ability to assess impacts of system functionality on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and create accurate project estimates.
- Presentation skills to influence leadership and stakeholders.
- Strong planning, organization, and time‑management skills.
- Adaptability to new strategies, programs, technologies, and cultures.
The U.S. base salary range for this position is USD 91,000–123,200.
