Job Description Data and Business Systems Analyst Overview The Data and Business Systems Analyst will design and implement technology solutions to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves end-to-end ownership of recurring data workflows, ensuring seamless integration and automation. Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities for process improvement and scalable technology solutions. Develop production-quality applications and services that reduce manual effort and strengthen operational controls.
Maintain integrations across internal systems, data platforms, and third-party tools to enhance information flow. Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, to improve business processes and operational efficiency. This hybrid role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic fund environment. Candidates will have autonomy to shape technology solutions across multiple organizational functions.
Data and Business Systems Analyst
Key Responsibilities & Duties Take ownership of solution life cycles, including requirements gathering, implementation, deployment, and ongoing support. Partner with business users to define practical, scalable technology solutions tailored to their needs. Design, develop, test, and maintain applications, services, and workflows to improve operational efficiency. Build and support integrations across systems, data platforms, and reporting tools. Rapidly prototype solutions, gather user feedback, and evolve concepts into production-ready systems.
Document solutions to ensure security, maintainability, and alignment with business requirements. Evaluate and implement AI-enabled technologies to enhance workflow automation and data processing. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
Data and Business Systems Analyst
Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related technical field. Minimum of five years of experience in software systems, workflow automation, and technology platforms. Proficiency in Python and SQL for application development and data analysis.
Experience with production applications, APIs, databases, and data-driven systems. Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD and secure software design. Knowledge of AI-enabled technologies and workflow automation frameworks. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders. Ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and deliver scalable solutions.
