Your Tasks
As Senior Media Manager, you will provide leadership to strategize and execute media with a Precision Marketing mindset. This role will execute digital marketing and media strategies that are highly targeted and personalized to customized audience segments that deliver positive business outcomes. This person will also be expected to have oversight of a Content Delivery Manager who will oversee campaign delivery across all brands and all cross-functional teams.
The right person for this role will have experience in consumer products and integrated media, media planning/activation, and agency management. The Media Manager will work as part of the Integrated Communications Team and collaborate with the Brand Teams, Cross-Functional Teams, and Agency Network to produce best-in-class media strategies and activations.
This is not a “behind the scenes” position nor entirely technical. This person needs to have great energy and passion for “all things” media to assist in moving the needle through digital expertise, creative thinking, and analytical approach to quantifying results.
- Integrated Media Strategy: Develop and execute performance marketing strategy, focusing on driving reach and engagement. This strategy should be in consideration of a full-funnel approach.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Brand, eCom, Consumer Experience teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and messaging.
- Paid Media Execution: Own the execution of paid Digital media campaigns across various channels, including Video, Social, Programmatic/Direct buys.
- KPI Definition and Monitoring: Establish clear KPIs for all campaigns with clear measurement plans to hold buys accountable to business results and strong media outcomes.
- Activation: Lead connections with Region on Golden Rule Compliance, Test & Learn Agendas, and best practices sharing
- Financial Organization: Manage all media budgets and lead agencies and internal finance partners to ensure performance standards are met. This includes managing flowcharts, auditing, post-buy reports, tracking, and reporting. Provide overview and guidance on monthly internal financial reporting, PO management, and invoice processing with support of Media Assistant.
- Media Management: Day-to-day media agency management including media flowcharts, firm/flex commitments, Media Authorization Forms, monthly budget summaries, competitive reports, digital vendor selection & management, brand safety
- Performance Management and Optimization: Manages agency reporting across all media including performance against KPIs established in tactical plans.
- Marketing and eCom Alignment: Partnership with marketing teams to ensure creative alignment and execution within key brand drive periods have the same look and feel to brand campaigns with appropriate adaptation for eCom environment. Close collaboration with Integrated Communication teams on overall media investments including Video, Paid Social, Influencer, and Google Search for stronger full-funnel execution.
- Lead Localization of Global & Regional Templates: Partner with Regional counterparts and local cross-functional leads to ensure adaptations are managed for US full-funnel
- Content Delivery: Oversee Content Delivery Manager who is responsible for managing creative workflow. The Senior Media Manager must have a firm understanding of the comms workflow process to and the impact it has to go live on time in full.
- Process: The expectation is to assess and optimize the content delivery process in tandem with Global and Regional counterparts and support the Content Delivery
- BS/BA in relevant field. (MBA Marketing/Business Administration MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 10+ years of related work experience (digital agency and/or within fast-paced CPG, Beauty, or Health and Wellness verticals)
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, the ability to take initiative and set priorities, and to work independently and in cooperation with others to lead and motivate a team
- Clear understanding of audience development & segmentation, consumer journey mapping, and path-to-purchase conversion funnels
