We are seeking an experienced Director of Programmatic Buying to lead and grow our Programmatic team. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise who can drive team performance, client success, and revenue growth while staying at the forefront of ad tech innovation.
Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and mentor a high‑performing team of Programmatic buyers
- Organize team structure strategically to maximize performance and efficiency
- Foster professional development and career growth within the programmatic team
- Present our programmatic capabilities in client meetings and new business pitches
- Ensure clients achieve exceptional performance across their programmatic campaigns
- Collaborate regularly with Client Media Directors on client‑specific performance optimization
- Share strategic ideas, insights, and performance updates with key stakeholders
- Present case studies and insights to the broader Ad Platforms team
- Contribute to company‑wide knowledge sharing and strategic planning initiatives
- Serve as internal subject matter expert on programmatic advertising trends and innovations
- Foundational understanding of the Ad Tech ecosystem with specialized focus on programmatic advertising
- Strong knowledge of major DSPs, including comprehensive understanding of the benefits and advantages of each platform
- Hands‑on experience managing programmatic buys across various DSP platforms
- Deep understanding of programmatic campaign optimization, targeting strategies, and performance metrics
- 10‑15 years of relevant experience in digital advertising
- Bachelor's degree required
- Buy‑side experience required (agency or brand environment)
- Proven track record of managing programmatic campaigns and driving measurable results
- Experience in a leadership or senior management role preferred
- 5+ years of work experience with Programmatic Media Buying
- 8+ years of Advertising Services experience
- 5+ years of work experience with Programmatic Advertising
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States
- No need for visa sponsorship
- Strong management and leadership capabilities with experience building and developing teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for client‑facing interactions
- Strategic thinking with ability to balance tactical execution and long‑term planning
- Strong analytical skills and data‑driven decision‑making approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving industry environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Systems, specifically in Excel
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
