Job SummaryWe are seeking an energetic and motivated Business Developer to join our team! In this role, you will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities within Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT while building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence. Your proactive approach to sales, combined with your management skills and technical sales expertise, will help us achieve our ambitious goals and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities- Conduct daily outbound activities consisting of cold-calling, emailing and Linked In campaigns to identify potential commercial clients.
- Drive new client acquisition by prospecting property management companies, office parks, retail centers, and commercial facilities.
- Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the commercial property management community.
- Present and sell annual maintenance contracts for commercial landscaping and snow removal services.
- Attend local networking events, industry associations, and chamber of commerce meetings to generate leads.
- Conduct on-site visits and property assessments to understand client needs and propose customized maintenance solutions.
- Prepare professional proposals and negotiate contract terms.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, prospects, and client interactions in CRM system.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new client acquisition targets.
- Stay informed about market conditions and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract signing.

Certificates / Licenses- Valid driver's license.
- 2–3 years sales or business development experience.
- Industry experience preferred, not required.
- Independent, effective time management, coachable, curious and resilient.

- Local market familiarity preferred.
Clients facing role with extensive regional travel, property walks, and networking events. Position is in-person, at our company headquarters. Some after-hours availability is required for clients and prospect networking.
