O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT, is seeking a customer focused Inside Counter Sales Associate to join our team at our Stamford Mason Facility

As an Inside Counter Sales Associate, you'll be one of the first points of contact for our customers, helping contractors, builders, and homeowners find the materials they need to get the job done. You'll play an important role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly while building relationships with the customers who rely on us.
No construction materials experience? No problem! We're willing to train someone with the right attitude, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn.
Saturday hours are required.
What You’ll Do:- Assist customers at the sales counter with purchasing masonry and construction materials
- Process transactions using our computerized point-of-sale system
- Provide friendly, efficient service and answer basic product questions
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately
- Coordinate with yard staff to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly
- Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and comfort using computers
- Willingness to learn about masonry and construction materials
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, building supplies, or construction materials is a plus, but not required

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $22 - $26/hour, based on qualifications and experience. O&G offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401 K, earned time off, paid holidays and other company-sponsored benefits, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements.
