• Maintain a strong and visible presence to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter designated areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with directions, inquiries, and general assistance.
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other security personnel as needed.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, reflecting the values of our organization.

• Minimum of 1 year Security Officer experience – preferably in an exterior patrol.
• Valid CT Security Guard License that will not expire for at least 3 months.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively.
• Demonstrate high level customer service skills, including the ability to professionally handle difficult situations.
• Ability to stand and patrol outside, no matter the weather or temperature.
• Excellent observation and problem‑solving abilities to identify potential security risks and take appropriate action.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, as well as lift and carry heavy objects when required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility towards ensuring the safety and well‑being of guests and staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or training in security or guest services will be an advantage.
