Position: Security Officer - CRE Patrol in Stamford, CT
As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This is a part-time role with a flexible schedule and opportunities to explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, deter security-related incidents, and provide excellent customer service in a welcoming environment.
Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe for any unusual activity and report findings according to company and site protocols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters as needed.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols and client requirements.
- Support Allied Universal and client staff in maintaining a secure environment by being visible and approachable during patrols and interactions.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
