We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience
. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing oil, propane, and natural gas heating systems, as well as ventilation and air conditioning systems. You should be capable of diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems efficiently and professionally.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices
- 2+ years of experience servicing and repairing Air Conditioning, oil, propane, and Natural gas
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade school certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and applicable trade certifications
- Ability to write routine service reports and correspondence
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with industry tools (electrical meter, efficiency tester, refrigeration gauges, recovery machine, manometer, etc.)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems
- Perform seasonal system maintenance and troubleshooting
- Conduct general repairs on steam and hot water heating systems
- Diagnose and repair airflow and ducting issues
- Install HVAC equipment as needed
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by providing honest, effective solutions
- Complete job reports and service tickets promptly and accurately
- Attend service meetings, training seminars, and company events
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and service vehicle
- Participate in an on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Work overtime as needed
