Support Worker – Learning Disabilities
Location: Glenholme Cecilian Court, Stamford, PE9 1QP

Hourly Rate: £12.25 – £12.45 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

• A salary increase to £12.35 per hour once you complete your paid‑for Care Certificate (an industry‑recognised qualification)
• A further increase to £12.45 per hour upon completion of a paid‑for Level 2‑3 NVQ

As a Support Worker, your role is to help individuals live with dignity, independence and fulfilment. You will:

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Support with personal care
• Teach and promote independent living skills
• Assist with the management of medication
• Support service users in engaging with community‑based activities such as swimming, social outings and leisure interests

With the right training and support, you will promote independence, choice, and inclusion — becoming more than just a support worker. You will be a companion, a guide and a trusted part of someone’s journey.
