Job Description:
Pay:£14.50 per hour
Shifts:4 on / 4 off |
Hours:6am–6pm
Responsible for coordinating the movement, loading, and dispatch of transport vehicles, containers, and trailers in line with company procedures, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Key Duties- Manage positioning of containers and trailers on loading bays
- Supervise transport contractors on site and ensure safety compliance
- Carry out daily checks on tug units and trailers
- Liaise with internal departments to maintain smooth operations
- Identify and resolve issues affecting daily load schedules
- Full UK driving license
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and forward‑thinking
- Strong communication skills
- Resilient under pressure
- Basic mechanical knowledge
