Location: Stanford University (Tri Valley, Pleasanton, CA; opportunities at Emeryville, Palo Alto).

Division of Tri-Valley Neurology in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a board-eligible or board-certified neurologist to join the Department as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line.

The major criterion for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

• Care of general and subspecialty neurology patients.
• Teaching medical students, residents, and clinical fellows.
• Work in the hospital and clinics at Stanford Health Care Tri Valley (SHC-Tri Valley) in Pleasanton, CA; opportunities at other clinical locations (Emeryville, Palo Alto) if desired.
• Participate in research, quality improvement, and development of innovative care programs.

• MD or equivalent.
• Board-certified or board-eligible (ABPN).
• California medical license.
• Fellowship training or additional background in Comprehensive Neurology, Headache, and Memory Disorders is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching students, residents, and fellows.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments and disciplines.
