Overview
The Division of Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplantation, and Regenerative Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University seeks board‑certified or eligible pediatric hematology applicants to contribute to the Division’s clinical and research enterprise at the assistant, associate, or full professor level in the university medical line.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe major criteria for appointment for faculty in the university medical line are excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic needs. Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Excellent opportunities for research and clinical program development are available with a clinical focus in pediatric hematology.
The successful applicant must have an MD or equivalent, be board‑eligible or board‑certified in Pediatric Hematology‑Oncology, and obtain a California Medical License by the time of hire. Clinical experience in pediatric hematology and an interest in program development is highly preferred, and an interest in developing and guiding clinical and/or translational research programs in pediatric hematology with a record or potential for successful collaboration and mentorship is essential.

California Medical License at hire; clinical experience in pediatric hematology; interest in program development; expertise in hemoglobinopathies, red cell disorders, bone marrow failure, or thrombosis; demonstrated or potential for developing and guiding clinical/translational research programs; evidence of collaboration and mentorship.

Professor: $327,000 – $352,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
