Overview
The Division of Pediatric Urology in the Department of Urology at Stanford University seeks a board‑certified, fellowship‑trained pediatric urologist with an MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent) to join the Division as Associate Professor or Professor in the University Medical Line or University Tenure Line. Candidates with an established track record of clinical excellence and scholarship in basic, translational, and/or clinical research related to pediatric urology are especially encouraged to apply.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop a clinical practice focused on pediatric urology at Stanford Health Care and Stanford Medicine Children’s Health, which may include San Francisco Bay Area outreach sites. In addition, develop a robust research program with the potential for extramural funding support. Maintain clinical care, clinical teaching, and scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic needs of the Division.
QualificationsBoard‑certified in Urology, fellowship‑trained pediatric urology. MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent). Track record of extramural funding, regionally or nationally recognized scholarship, service to national organizations, and clinical expertise in pediatric urology.
Compensation- Associate Professor: $422,000 - $458,000
- Professor: $486,000 - $566,000
The pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
